Your poster looks best in our handmade, wooden poster hanging systems. Of course, you can also hang the poster in other ways. Frame it, hang it with thumbtacks on a cork board, or use double-sided tape.

Only when purchasing the photo strip with a hanging system will you receive a wooden hanging system. All other posters are supplied without a hanging system. A handmade wooden hanging system can be easily ordered separately.

The available sizes for the wooden hanging system are 25, 60, 70, 80, 100, 120, and 140 centimeters. These are fixed sizes and unfortunately, deviations are not possible. Therefore, it is not possible to have a hanging system made in a different size.

You can have an Instawall or photo print made on:
-Dibond Aluminum: a matte finish with an industrial look.
-Plexiglass: a glossy end result where the colors really stand out.
-Glass: museum-worthy material where the colors are optimally displayed.
-Poster: produced on 240 gr/m2 premium photo paper, printed with a fine-art photo printer for the best print quality.
-Framed prints with passe-partout: a print on 240 gr/m2 paper, printed with a fine-art photo printer, with a bright white passe-partout and a wooden photo frame.

Instawalls and photo prints are printed in the color profile Adobe SRGB (for posters) and Adobe RGB 1998 (for aluminum, plexiglass, and glass). If you are unsure about the correct color profile for your photos, please feel free to contact us.
Please note, photographers sometimes provide photos with the Pro Photo color profile. If we convert this color profile to our settings, the colors may differ.
Therefore, always contact us if in doubt.

Absolutely! Upload your favorite images, play with formats, and create a unique design that truly reflects you. You decide how your Instawall looks.

Photos taken with a camera or phone are often of sufficient quality. At Instawall, we look at the number of pixels in a photo to determine its quality. Photos for a 'small' square in an Instawall must be at least 640x640 pixels. You will automatically receive a notification from us if the resolution of the photo used is too low.

Low-resolution photos will not print sharply. We therefore recommend replacing low-resolution photos with other photos. Do you still want to include the photo in your design, for example because the photo is very valuable to you? That is, of course, possible. However, be aware that the print quality of the photo will be less sharp than the print quality you are used to from Instawall.

That's definitely possible! As a logged-in user, you can save your Instawall project online. To do this, create an account and click the 'save' button in the tool. You don't need to download any software to your computer, everything is simply done online.

An Instawall project and the photos you have uploaded will be stored in your account for one month. Please note: the photos are linked to an Instawall project. If you want to create a different size Instawall, you will need to re-upload the photos. If you have ordered the photo project, the photos will no longer be visible in your account afterwards.

Have you been working on your Instawall for longer than a month and haven't saved it in the meantime? Then our system is forced to delete the photos. Due to our privacy guidelines, photos are not stored for longer than a month. Was your project created less than a month ago and your photos were still deleted? Then it might help to log out and log in again, or use a different internet browser. Please note, the photos are linked to an Instawall project. If you want to create a different size Instawall, you will need to upload the photos again.

A printed Instawall or photo enlargement cannot be adjusted after it has gone into production.

After creating your product, we store them temporarily to ensure everything is processed correctly, after which they are automatically removed from our system. Your privacy and images are safe with us. So, upload without worries.

The perfect Instawall starts with the right size. Because no matter how beautiful your photo is, if the size isn't right, it won't be shown to its best advantage. Too small and it disappears, too big and it dominates. Time for balance!

Our golden rules:

Above your sofa

Use the 2/3 rule: your Instawall should be approximately two-thirds of the width of your sofa. So, if you have a 180 cm sofa, go for an Instawall of about 120 cm wide. And hang it at eye level, with 20-25 cm of space above your sofa.

Above your bed

Same rule, different vibe. Choose a size that is two-thirds of your bed's width and hang it about 20-25 cm above the headboard. Peace in your bedroom? Think of landscapes or abstract art.

In the hallway

Narrow wall? Choose a vertical Instawall. Hang it about 145 cm from the floor to the center of your decoration. Are you using multiple small Instawalls? Keep 5-15 cm spacing for a sleek look.

Above a dresser or table

Again: not wider than the furniture. Guideline? Approximately two-thirds of the furniture's width. And hang it 10-30 cm above for that 'wow' effect.

• Tape on the wall to see what fits.
• In doubt? It's better to choose something too big than too small.
